The body of the deceased has been retrieved by the police
The founder and leader of the Truth Redemption Church in Assin Bereku in the central region is in the hands of police for allegedly beheading his wife.
According to a report by Kasapafmonline.com sighted by GhGhetto, the 55-year old Yaw Owusu went to the farm with his wife Victoria Owusuon September 29, 2022 and returned home without his wife.
The pastor gave a conflicting statements after he had been questioned about the whereabouts of his wife.
The chief and elders of Assin Beraku upon their interrogations, realized that the statement given to them were not convinced as there felt there might be something he’s trying to hide. They then handed him to the police for further investigation.
Following his arrest, tons of angry Assin Beraku youth aligned at the police station for the release of the suspect to be dealt with instantly.
The suspect has now been transferred from the Assin Bereku Police Station to Assin Fosu Police Station whilst the body of the deceased wife has been retrieved by the police and deposited at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital Mortuary.
