There were TWO SHOOTING incidents yesterday in the country regarding ENVIRONMENTAL TERRORISTS…
First incident happened in Samreboi between Akonta MINING (a Chairman Wontumi owned company, the Ashanti Regional Chairman) LANDGUARDS SHOOTING AT SAMARTEX SECURITY MEN in the Western Region.
Second was between the Okyeman Environmental Task Force and a Community mining group at Asamang Tamfoe in the Atewa East District of the Eastern Region.
According to news reports monitored on Citinews the Community mining group which was launched by the State has been facing issues with the Okyeman Environmental Task Force and accused them of using “Nima Boys and Land Guards” to intimidate them in order to take away their Community mining concession.
